Ladies, Ladies......
The great news:
1) Jen did Kipping Pullups
2) Analisa got upto 45lbs Dumbbells for the WOD
3) I did the WOD upto 30lbs. I did a sixth set with 35lbs but put then down due to grip strentgh for a minute during the hang cleans. However, if I'd known how the workout was truely supposed to take place I would have done my best to hold onto them. What am I talking about?
The bad news:
Turns out you are not allowed put the dumbbells down inbetween reps until you have completed the whole round. Yep!

You can't put them down unless you need to dump them! Watched the video and 70# DB were dumped when left arm collapsed!
Regardless...good WOD for a Cinco de Mayo morning!
Way to go on those pullups J! Glad I could be there to celebrate with you!
Thanks for the help ladies -

I did the same workout as above:
35, 45, 55, 60, 65
all sets were without putting the dumbbells down
the push press was by far my limiting factor....I feel I could go quite a bit heavier if it weren't for the push press
I guess I need to work overhead strength a lot more

5 DB DLs
5 DB Hang Cleans
5 DB Push Press
5 DB Squats
5 times
50, 55, 60, 60, 65
Push presses bite. I'm not sure I extended totally on the last push press rep, so I rested again, and did another set (i.e. 6 sets total) at 65 pounds. That was a good set. I would have liked to have tried 70 pounds if my right shoulder wasn't so weak; the left felt great.
