Thanks for posting this, Scott.

I met a person who hasn't eaten broccoli in several years because she was told by a doctor that this can make her bleed to death. When I looked into it, I concluded that the doctor probably meant that broccoli has a high level of vit K, which helps to prevent clotting. Somewhere along the way, either she or her doctor twisted this information around and all of a sudden broccoli can kill you. Is this ignorant or just plain stupid?

...in the same way that some alcohol is "good for you", People tend to hear what they want. Johnny, you and I both know it's merely an excuse to rationalize bad dietary habits, nothing more, nothing less.

Remember when news reported that chocolate had antioxidants? Or how about beer post-workout is "better" than water? :rolleyes:
