Workout of the day consisted of a singlespeed ride with John. It was an easy ride until we found a very steep dirt hill. We did a few intervals climbing the hill. Then I ran from my house back to the gym (probably a little over a mile - I still have to measure the distance). Different workout, but CrossFitesque. Fun time...

^^^ The single-speed climbs up the steep dirt hill were definitely challenging. My legs were blown on the last interval, and the heart wasn't too far behind. But it was incredibly fun, especially when each of us took turn attacking the intervals while the other recovers, watches and yells encouragement (and obscenities). I believe that this dirt hill will be a regular part of the training program. This will be even more fun if more people join in. Oil your chains, folks!

Earlier in the day, I did corporate rx WOD.
Snatch, seven singles: 50, 52.5, 55, 57.5, 60, 62.5, 65 Kg.
(I haven't snatched over 55 Kg in months. It felt and looked ugly.)
Feeling f'n good.
